TAB Gıda has been operating uninterruptedly since 1994 to contribute to the development of the QSR industry in Turkey, bringing globally-recognized brands to consumers in the country, as well as making high-quality local flavors accessible to all through its own established brands.
1995: TAB Gıda gained momentum in 1995 after acquiring the master franchisee rights of the globally-renowned fast food chain Burger King® and bringing this legendary brand to Turkey for enthusiasts to enjoy. Burger King® has shortly become the go-to address for high-quality and affordable menus, enlarged its fan-base and expanded its restaurant chain throughout the country. As one of the leaders in Turkey’s QSR industry, today Burger King serves its recipes at more than 700 restaurants all around the country.
2006: Having successfully established Burger King® as one of Turkey’s most beloved brands, TAB Gıda subsequently introduced the world-famous Italian restaurant chain, Sbarro® to the country. Sbarro quickly gained popularity among Turkish consumers, and it currently brings a taste of Naples at 110 restaurants nationwide.
2007: TAB Gıda brought Popeyes®, one of world’s most recognized quick service restaurant chains offering original Louisiana recipes, to Turkey. Consumers in Turkey embraced the crispy and freshly served flavors of Popeyes®. Today, Popeyes® serves at over 300 locations across the country.
2010: Arby’s®, home to extraordinary and hearty food, began serving its delicious flavors to customers in Turkey under TAB Gıda’ assurance. Arby’s® has since become the preferred destination for meat lovers, offering the most special form of roasted beef and a wide range of unique products to its fans at nearly 100 restaurants across Turkey.
2013: TAB Gıda leveraged its two decades of experience in the QSR industry to establish Usta Dönerci®️, Turkey's premier döner restaurant chain. Usta Dönerci®️ brings together the best of traditional food with the quick service restaurant experience consumers demand today, and uphold its motto of “delicious meat from reliable sources, fast service, affordable prices" at over 140 locations throughout the country.
2019: TAB Gıda established it’s second brand Usta Pideci® to offer delicious pide selections and delicatessen products for local food enthusiasts to enjoy with ease of mind.
2022: TAB Gıda continued expanding its global brand portfolio by adding Subway®️, one of world’s most recognized quick-service restaurant chains. With the backing of TAB Gıda's 25 years of experience, Subway®️ fans in Turkey enjoy the chain's freshly made sandwiches, wraps, and salads at over 80 locations throughout the country.

TAB Gıda has established a unique food ecosystem that sets an example for the QSR industry worldwide. The uniqueness of this system comes from its self-sufficiency, as it meets the various needs of its brand within itself.
All meat products used by TAB Gıda brands are processed in Ekur Et Entegre facilities, located in Suluova District, Amasya. Ekur Et Entegre is a Group company equipped with a 100% traceability system using advanced production technology. Cattle breeding is carried out at the facility in a closed area of 40 thousand square meters, established on 100,000 decares of land, with an average capacity of 5000 animals. Ekur Et Entegre is the most advanced, state-of-the-art facility in Turkey with a fully integrated production system from butchering to packaging. Meat production is carried out in accordance with local and international standards, with a capacity of 100,000 cattle slaughterings per year and 33,600 tons of carcass meat processing per year.
Atakey, which is located in Afyon as another group company and meets the potato needs of TAB Gıda brands the largest potato processing factory in Turkey with an annual production of 80,000 tons of ready-to-fry potatoes and is one of the largest producers in the world. 150,000 to 160,000 tons of raw potatoes are planted in 40,000-45,000 decars of agricultural land within the framework of contract farming. It produces potatoes processed with the most advanced technology not only to restaurants in Turkey, but also to China. Atakey, which has 22,000 tons of finished products and 70,000 tons of raw materials, currently produces 7,000 tons of frozen finger potatoes per month, with an average monthly need of 4,500 tons in Turkey, and 2,500 tons for the needs of different regions in China.
Many bakery products used by TAB Gıda brands, from pizza dough to hamburger bread, are supplied by another ecosystem company, Ekmek Unlu Gıda. Ekmek Unlu Gıda Production Facility has the capacity to produce hamburger and sandwich breads, biscuit breads, paninis, baguette breads and pizza dough. This facility is one of Turkey's largest bread factory producing 40 million hamburger breads and 3 million sandwich breads per month. Ekmek Unlu Gıda, which is one of the world's few facilities in its field with its advanced technology, meets not only the needs of restaurants within the TFI TAB Food Investments, but also the toast bread supply of Turkey's largest chain grocery stores with a total capacity of 6 tons of dough processing per hour in two factories.
TAB Gıda meets its salad needs from Fasdat vegetable chopping plant, which is one of the ecosystem companies with a factory located in the city of Antalya. Fasdat Gıda, one of the largest logistics operators in Turkey, covers a distance of 30 million kilometers every year from 7 warehouses to make deliveries across 80 cities nationwide. The company has 29.602 m2 cold storage area and makes more than 6,500 departures every month. It operates not only in making deliveries, but also in food processing like producing chopped salads, ice cream and milkshake extracts.
The installation of kitchen equipments of TAB Gıda brands and their regular maintenance sis provided by Mes Mutfak.
The purchasing and supply chain is conducted by another group company named Fasdat.

Additionally, “Professional Standards” guideline prepared and implemented by TAB Gıda, have been approved by the Professional Qualification Institution (MYK) affiliated to the The Republic of Turkey Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Services and registered as a “National Professional Standard”.
Placing great importance to food safety and quality standards, TAB Gıda has adopted as an unwavering principle that the products of each brand within its structure are following health and hygiene requirements. Only beef and chicken meat are used in all meat products served to consumers in TAB Gıda restaurants. In addition, all products are produced in accordance with the Turkish Food Codex Regulation. They are all prepared in 100% compliance with international quality standards in terms of health and hygiene, as well as shipping, cooking, and service standards.
All meats coming to the restaurants are taken from BRCGS certified suppliers in a closed way and shipped with the logistics company's vehicles at -18ºC. When the shipping vehicles arrive to the restaurants, the temperatures of the vehicles and meats are checked and recorded by the managers. The expiry dates and packaging procedures of the meats are checked during delivery, and are transported to restaurant warehouses without breaking the cold chain. Storage temperatures of -18ºC and (1-4) ºC are manually checked at least 3 times a day and before each shipment with a thermometer, even though they have temperature indicators on them. In addition, the shipments made throughout Turkey are tracked and the temperatures of the vehicles during the shipment are constantly monitored.
TAB Gıda has set specific temperature and holding time standards for all food products. These standards are designed to ensure that the products are of the best quality. In addition, the internal temperatures of all cooked meats used in restaurants are controlled 5-6 times a day, maximum once every 3 hours. These records are also kept in the restaurant archives for at least 3 years.
Cooking procedures are designed to kill all pathogenic microorganisms that are likely to be present in raw meat. All meats are cooked at a minimum internal temperature of 68ºC.
In addition, the fat content of oil-containing sauces served in restaurants was reduced by 50%. While there are no flavor enhancers in breads, sugar and salt are also at minimum levels. The potatoes served in the restaurants are produced without using any additives, and the dairy products such as ice cream and milkshakes are produced from real milk.
All employees in our restaurant chains go through certified training on "food safety" and "hygiene". All employees strictly abide by hand washing procedures and wash their hands with a minimum of 38ºC water every 15 minutes.
Although all suppliers have BRCGS certificates and applications, they are regularly audited by the TAB Food Quality Assurance Department according to the risk category in order to ensure product quality and food safety. Producers who do not score a minimum of 70 out of 100 points during these inspections are not allowed to sell their products, and they are given additional time to correct the deficiencies. They can continue producing for the company when they meet the requirements and eliminate their deficiencies. In this way, product quality and food safety are constantly monitored, and customer satisfaction is increased by continuously serving hygienic, healthy and safe products across all brands.
