As TAB Gıda, our internship policy is to support the development of students, enhance their skills and determine future talent for our growing company.
For admission to the internship, it is of utmost importance that the candidate is familiar with our company and is willing to be a part of our organisation. During the interview process, our recruitment unit evaluates the candidates, understand their expectations and see if they are a good fit for the company. There are basic competencies we seek, such as being a good team player and communicating effectively.
Our recommendation for candidates applying for internship is to get to know themselves well in their student life and to guide their careers in this direction. When candidates have this kind of awareness and determination, it is much easier to evaluate them.
Although our students who do internship benefit from our basic rights (travel, food), they are employed by the school or the employer in terms of wages and insurance within the framework of all legal regulations determined by the law.
We can also employ students who graduate from our internship program on a full-time basis if their school schedule allows.
From the first day we meet our interns, we start to draw a career map for them. We assign tasks in different departments within the company according to their expectations. We share the details we have learned about them in the selection of departments and their initial evaluations, thus we act as career advisors.
We give our interns various responsibilities and enable them to complete their internship period efficiently. In this way, we invest in the future. As an institution, we have many employees who have spent their internship period in our company and then launched their professional career within TAB Gıda.
Every year, we mainly recruit internships in May and June, when the schools are closing, and in September and October, when the compulsory internships of the schools begin.
