As TAB Gıda, our internship policy is to support the development of students and determine the potential human resources of our company in the future with the internship opportunity we provide.
First of all, our two basic conditions for admission to the internship are that the candidate should be familiar with our company and be willing to take part in our organization. In the interviews made with the candidate by our recruitment unit, his/her expectations from us are evaluated and it is checked whether there is a need for internship employment in the department to meet these expectations. There are also basic competencies we seek, such as communication or being a good team player in line with the duties and responsibilities of the department where they will be employed.
Our recommendation for candidates applying for internship is to get to know themselves well in their student life and to guide their careers in this direction. When candidates come across with this awareness and determination, it is much easier to evaluate them.
Although our students who do internship benefit from our basic rights (travel, food), they are employed by the school or the employer in terms of wages and insurance within the framework of all legal regulations determined by the law.
We can employ our young friends, who are included in our internship program, on a full-time basis, if the course schedule is suitable. Thus, they have more chance to experience.
We are starting to draw a career map from the first day we meet the students who have internship opportunities in our company. We assign tasks in different departments within the company according to their expectations. We share the details we have learned about them in the selection of departments and their initial evaluations, and we act as career advisors.
We give our interns various responsibilities and enable them to complete their internship period efficiently. In this way, we invest in the future. As an institution, we have many employees who have spent their internship period in our company and then started their first work experience within TAB Gıda.
Every year, we mainly recruit internships in May and June, when the schools are closing, and in September and October, when the compulsory internships of the schools begin.
